Ginger

(Zingiber Officinale Root Extract): The earliest references to ginger, known as “the great medicine,” appears in Ayurvedic literature during the Vedic Period (1,500 BC -800 BC). Traditionally it has been used to treat inflammation and as a remedy for colds. Clinical studies in the U.S suggest that ginger has considerable anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and anticancer effects. As an antioxidant, ginger may have the ability to mitigate or prevent the generation of free radicals, one of the primary causes of cellular damage.

Goji Berry

(Lycium Barbarum Fruit Extract): Used by herbalists in Chinese medicine since antiquity to improve sexual function, boost the immune system and promote longevity. What is scientifically known is that these berries are rich in antioxidants like Vitamin E, Vitamin C and loaded with complex phytonutrients  and bioflavenoids.

Research suggests that polysaccharides derived from Goji Berry have strong antitumor, hepaprotective and immune enhancing properties.

Shea Butter

Argan Oil

Sodium PCA

Sodium PCA is naturally occurring humectant found in our skin. It helps to replenish vaginal hydration by binding moisture to the cells. Sodium Hyaluronate

Sodium Hyaluronate has superior moisture attracting and water-binding abilities to rehydrate dermal cells responsible for tone, elasticity and firmness. Its ultra-low molecular weight enables it to penetrate several layers of skin to super-hydrate the extracellular matrix, critical to the creation of collagen and elastin fibers.

Pomegranate

(Punica Granatum Extract): Also known as Anar, the therapeutic value of this fruit is found throughout the ancient texts of Ayurveda. Traditional applications include its use as a mild aphrodisiac and for treating fatigue. Western medicine has found Pomegranate to be a powerful antioxidant, rich in phytonutrients such as polyphenols. Also known as flavinoids, these free radical scavengers protect cells from damage due to oxidative stress.

Vitamin E

(Tocopheryl Acetate): A natural antioxidant, Vitamin E is an important skin conditioning agent, responsible for the healthy functioning of connective tissue. Less acidic than tocopheral itself, Tocopheral Acetate penetrates through the skin to living cells. Absorbtion into the cells supports a healthy increase of oxygen utilization within tissue.

Water

Kirayat

(Andrographis Paniculata Root Extract): Used in both Ayurveda and in the tribal medicines of India for its broad spectrum therapeutic value. Western medicine has studied Kirayat for its antioxidant, antiviral, anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Clinical trials have demonstrated an anti-inflammatory effect as well as the ability to increase the number of CD4 cells, a primary measure of immune system strength.

Shatavari

(Asparagus Racemosus Root Extract): In Ayurveda, Shatavari is mainly known for its phytoestrogenic properties. This important medicinal plant is considered to be the primary rejuvenating treatment for a womanʼs reproductive system, addressing overall health and vitality. In translation, Shatavari means “She who possess one hundred husbands.” Published medical reviews acknowledge its potent antioxidant and immune system stimulating effects.

Ashwagandha

(Withania Somnifera Root Extract): An important herb used in Ayurveda, the traditional medical system of India. Widely believed to possess aphrodisiac, rejuvenative and life prolonging properties. Jojoba Seed Oil

(Simmondsia Chinensis): Jojoba Oil is extracted from the seeds of the desert shrub Simmondsia Chinensis, native to southern California, Arizona and northwestern Mexico. Native America Indians used Jojoba Oil for its mystical healing abilities. This wonderful, non-greasy moisturizer penetrates skin quickly. Vitamin C

(Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate): BV-OSC™ is a very stable, oil-soluble form of Vitamin C. Studies have shown that topical application can protect against cell damage, stimulate collagen production and inhibit MMP's (Matrix metalloproteinases), which are capable of degrading extracellular matrix proteins, including elastin. Inhibition of MMPʼs are key to protection of elastin in connective tissue. In cosmetic formulations BV- OSC™ can even skin tone, also known as a “clarifying and brightening” effect.
